UPACLICK

Privacy policy

How Upaclick Limited handles personal information on this website. Plain English, no legal maze.

Who we are

UPACLICK is the trading name of Upaclick Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 17290639. Registered office: Epic House, 18 Darnall Road, Sheffield S9 5AB. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, registration ZC189114, which you can check on the ICO register. For anything about your data, email carl@upaclick.uk.

What we collect and why

If you use the contact form we receive what you type: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your preferred format and your message. We use it for one purpose, which is to reply to you and handle your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. We ask you not to include confidential client information in the form.

This site has no accounts, no marketing cookies and no advertising trackers. Like any website, technical data such as your IP address is processed by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, to deliver the pages and protect the site. The fonts the site uses are served from our own hosting, so viewing the site sends no request to any font provider.

Where it goes and how long we keep it

Form submissions are delivered to our business email by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, which processes them on our behalf. If that route is ever unavailable the message may instead be relayed through Shopify, the platform that runs our online store. Both providers may process data on servers outside the UK under their standard data protection safeguards. If your enquiry does not lead to any work, we delete the correspondence within twelve months. If it does, we keep the correspondence for the length of the working relationship and for six years after it ends, in line with normal business record keeping, then delete it. We do not sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email carl@upaclick.uk and we will sort it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
