Get a clear recommendation on which tools to use, what to change and what to leave alone. You pay for the advice and it is yours. We advise and point the way rather than selling you a system. Read a sample recommendation to see what the document looks like. Act on the plan yourself, take it to another supplier or ask us to help.
The decisions we help with
You don’t need an AI strategy for the sake of having one. You need answers to the decisions in front of you.
Which tool should we choose?
Two or three products look the same from the outside. We compare them against how you actually work and give you a recommendation you can act on.
Can we use it with client data?
Some tools are fine for admin and wrong for client files. We check the terms, the settings and the risk before anything sensitive goes in.
Are we already paying for the answer?
Half the time the feature you need is hiding in software you already own. We look there first, before recommending anything new.
Is this supplier proposal any good?
Get an independent read on a quote or a pitch before you sign it. No vendor in the room.
Should we automate this?
We work out whether a process is worth automating at all, and if it is, the simplest way to do it.
Build or buy?
When nothing on the market fits, we set out what a bespoke build would involve and tell you honestly whether it is justified.
Why the advice is independent
Software vendors know their own products. Developers know how to build. IT providers know how to support what you have. None of them is paid to tell you the answer might be somewhere else. We are.
The advice is a standalone paid piece of work. You get a written recommendation that you own outright. If bespoke software turns out to be one of the options, we’ll explain why it beats buying off the shelf, and any build is quoted separately. You are always free to take the recommendation elsewhere.
Sometimes the honest recommendation is to change nothing. You’ll hear that too.
The same principle as good independent advice
The best professional advisers all work the same way. Start with the client’s circumstances, not with a product. Weigh the whole market. Explain the costs and the risks. Review the decision when things change. And accept that sometimes the right recommendation is to do nothing.
Technology decisions deserve the same treatment. The AI landscape moves so fast that the right answer today is often different in three months. Keeping up is close to a full time job. You shouldn’t have to do it. That is the job you hire us for.
Two ways to buy, one optional extra
Buy the amount of advice the decision needs. The scope and rate are agreed before we start.
Advice Call. £250 an hour
For one focused decision. Compare tools, sense-check a supplier proposal, review an AI feature before you switch it on. A short questionnaire first, a focused working session, then a written summary of the recommendation with clear next actions.
Technology Review Day. £1,100
For several connected decisions or a proper look at how your business runs. We review your tools and what they cost you, find realistic uses for AI, compare buy, adapt and build, and agree what to change first. You keep a prioritised written action plan you can hand to anyone.
Quarterly Technology Review
For businesses that want their decisions kept current as the landscape moves. Each quarter we revisit what was recommended, check what has changed and agree the next priorities. Ask about it on the fit call.
Who does the work
The advice comes from Carl Swift. Twenty years running his own client-facing businesses, choosing the systems, fixing the processes and handling the sensitive client information that comes with the work. Formally trained through the Nebius AI Academy in AI Agents, LLM Architectures, MLOps, LLM Post-Training and Performance Engineering with a 99% average, and awarded the AI Performance Engineering Fellowship, verified on Credly. He builds and runs AI-driven software in his own businesses today, from client record systems to document processing and transcription tools. See what we’ve built. And it’s not just Carl. When a question needs deeper hands we can call on specialist contacts from the Academy network, in electronics and hardware integration, in mechanical engineering and in robotics. One adviser, and a bench behind him.

A deep specialism: mortgage & protection firms
We understand how mortgage and protection brokerages run day to day, and how to make them run better. Efficient, compliance-friendly workflows, CRM and sourcing set up properly, smoother client journeys and stronger retention. This is consultancy on running the business, not regulated financial advice, and the same thinking helps any firm that handles sensitive client information.

Why pay when others will audit for free? A free audit is paid for by the build that follows it. Ours is not. You get a written recommendation you own, and if the honest answer is buy nothing and build nothing, that costs us the sale and you hear it anyway.
Will you just tell me to buy something? Half the time the answer is already in software you own. We look there first. Sometimes the answer is to change nothing.
I don’t know what’s wrong, only that it takes too long. Is that a problem? No, that is the normal starting point. Naming it is the job.
What if I take the recommendation elsewhere? Then you take it. It is yours, in writing, and another supplier can act on it.
How do I know the friction you find is real? Because we go and watch it. Nothing goes in the recommendation as a problem unless we have seen it happen or measured it, and nothing goes in as a fix unless we have done the same job in our own firm or run it ourselves.
The boundaries, stated plainly
Is this legal or financial advice? No. It is practical technology guidance. Where a question needs a solicitor, a data protection specialist or a regulated adviser, we’ll say so.
Do you sell the tools you recommend? No. We have no reseller deals and take no commission from any supplier.
Can you implement the recommendation? Often, yes. That work is agreed and priced separately so the advice stays clean.
What if the question is too big for the time booked? We’ll tell you rather than rush an answer, and agree what to do about it.
