We don’t show client case studies, because we’re at the start of selling this and we won’t invent them. What we can show is better evidence: the tools we built for our own businesses, used in real work every day. We were our own first client. And not all of it has stayed inside our own walls. Among the fifty plus tools are builds for outside customers too, including one for an international concrete firm and an AI race coach and data analysis app for a race team that competes across Europe. Two of the tools below, the document checker and the document pack sender, are written up in full with real numbers in our sample recommendation.
A selection of the tools we built and run ourselves
These seven are a selection from more than fifty we have built. Each one here started as our own problem. Each one is in daily use.
Document accuracy checker
An AI tool that cross-checks regulated financial documents against each other and flags inconsistencies before they reach a client. The kind of checking that eats a person’s afternoon, done in minutes, with a human making the final call.
Server-to-database search
Years of accumulated files on a messy office server, mixed formats, scans, folders nobody dared reorganise. We built an extraction pipeline that turned the whole thing into a structured, searchable database. What used to be “ask whoever might remember” is now a search box.
Document intake and fraud checks
A tool that reads bank statements, payslips and photographic ID, extracts and collates the information, and runs fraud checks on what it finds. Manual document intake became a reviewed, consistent process instead of a pile on someone’s desk.
Automatic call transcription
A system that transcribes telephone calls automatically, so what was agreed on a call becomes a written record without anyone typing it up. What used to live in someone’s memory is now on file.
File understanding and renaming
An app that reads client files as they are uploaded to a portal, works out what each document actually is, and renames and files it according to its contents. No more folders full of “scan0001.pdf”.
Client-ready quote documents
An app that takes insurance quote data and generates finished, client-ready PDF documents from it. Consistent output every time, with the manual formatting step gone.
Document pack merge and send
Takes the documents for a client pack, merges them into one file with a header and an index, and sends the client a download link while the password goes separately by text. A manual protect, attach and text chain became one button.
Why we show our own tools instead of client logos
Anyone can write a glowing case study. These tools carry a different kind of proof. They handle sensitive financial documents, personal data and regulated paperwork, because that is the world our own businesses live in. We built them under GDPR with real client information at stake, and they had to actually work, because we depend on them ourselves.

It’s not just office software either. The two halves of UPACLICK look odd side by side until you see the common thread, because this is the company’s whole heritage. When the product we need doesn’t exist, or nothing on the market does it properly, we design it, make it, use it ourselves and only then sell it. The race parts started exactly that way. The software is no different. And the two halves met when a race team that competes across Europe asked us to build them an AI race coach and data analysis app.
